Your ms email

Most members of the Department of Mathematics have an email address of the form username@ms.uky.edu. If you use another account as your primary email address, you should arrange to have your ms.uky.edu email forwarded so that you do not miss messages about important meetings.


Set up forwarding, windows

Using notepad or another simple text editor (don't use MS Word) create a text file on your U drive, U:\mail_forward. This file should contain the email address where you want to receive your ms email. Save the file. Notepad may try to help by adding a .txt extension. Using windows explorer, remove the .txt file extension.

Send a test message to your ms.uky.edu email address to make sure everything is working.
